Do you know whether there is a requirement for work experience to enter for MBA at the Said Business School.
Thanks,

MR. SHU
I HAVE A LOT OF RESPECT FOR PROFESSIONALS LIKE YOURSELF. IF YOU HAD A CHANCE TO START YOUR PROFESSIONAL LIFE ALL OVER AGAIN, WHAT CHANGES WOULD YOU LIKE TO MAKE IN YOUR CAREER. YOUR HINDSIGHT WILL BE MY FORESIGHT.
THANKS,
AHMER AZAM
Your words are too kind. Without knowing your background, I can't say that my hindsight will serve you well though. I hope that you solicit input from other folks.
With that as a preface, one change I might have like to have made in my career was that of taking more risks when I was younger. This could have been in the way of taking harder projects when I was younger, pushing my managers more for growth opportunities, and doing less coasting. By no means did I take it easy, but when I was younger I tended to take the attitude of only accepting jobs where I would not fail. That is not an entrepreneurial attitude. The net effect of being more conservative was that while I might have performed great on the job, subjectively I had lower personal growth. Fortunately I went to get my MBA and entered a new career path. The management consulting career path is more of a sink or swim culture and was probably a good way to balance out the "safe" path that I originally took when leaving college.

That is great. Your response is what I expected.
Among other things, all leaders are:
1. Humble but confident
2. Understand that success can only be built on failing. They have an attutude to fail until they succeed
3. Learn from their mistakes
4. Have an entrepreneurial go getter attitude to large extent.
In case you have not reviewed, you should read Jack Welsch's biographies - "Winning" & "Straight from the Gutts".
Congratulations.
